At the heart of the industry
Students at The Hotel School Sydney are placed in the workplace during their first year: after 12 weeks of study time, they start an internship in the industry. Placements take place in 4 and 5 star hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, bars, and even airport lounge, and enable students to put into practice the knowledge they have received. Internships can be in any position, from reception and concierge to housekeeping and room service, resulting in students getting a real insight into the industry and a good understanding of how hospitality works.
